The vibrant colors of this abstract landscape tondo were inspired by a visual research i was doing for a recent commission. I was struck by the liveliness and freshness of certain views of the Australian reef, where it's still alive. This painting makes me feel close to water, seas, oceans, rivers - their preciousness, their beauty and importance.
