Concept
For me, this abstract landscape painting is both fierce and poetic. It carries the wonder and majesty of certain early evening, when the sun is enlightening the clouds. The sky almost glows and turns yellow, and the land is black in contrast to all that shining light. And hearing birds dancing in the air is so fulfilling and liberating.
Technique
This original mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.
