Concept
Where I live, sometimes I can't take apart land from sky, they are inseparable as in a 'mystical' bond. This moody abstract landscape painting represents a place like that, that I'd love to visit, over and over, to find quietness and silence from the busy days. Whenever I look at it it brings me serenity and happiness.
Technique
This original mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands. Being richly textured in certain areas, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.
Size and support
Size: 39.4x27.6x0.2" (100x70x0.5cm) on canvassed masonite board. It's signed on the back.
Ready to hang:
- Default: It has a metal plate fixing (0.5cm thickness; total thickness of painting + metal plate: 1cm)
- Please note: If you plan to frame the painting, I can add wooden fixings on the back (0.8cm thickness; total thickness of painting + wooden fixings: 1.3cm thickness). In this latter case, please contact me so I can prepare the back of the painting before shipping.
