Kind of hope
Concept
This mixed media abstract triptych represents for me the joy of embracing the multifaceted aspects of our experience to express our true 'golden' self. In this 'wall sculpture' the actual texture is created through mixed media techniques, with a variety of materials whose roughness is smoothed by the pale color nuances.
Technique, size and support
The original triptych has an overall size of 21.5x38x0.98" (54.5x96.5x2.5cm). The three canvassed boards are realized with acrylic colors, gels, latex, stones and sand. The three panels are mounted on a black wooden mount and white-brownish wooden frame.
The white and bronze colors also have some metallic pigments in them, and they shine under proper lightning conditions. Being this artwork heavily textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a rich tactile experience. It's signed on the back by the author and ready to hang.
