Seeking another land
Concept
This abstract landscape painting is about my love for lights, reflections, everything that radiates and glimmers, bringing to the room the ideals of freedom, joy and hope. It gives me a lot of serenity and happiness with its yellow gold and pearly white colors, contrasted by the deep black areas. It reminds me that our land is precious, our real gold, and needs to be protected and cared for.
Technique
This original mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands and golden metallic pigments.
Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.
