Concept
Whatever doubt I have, when I am painting I feel again ok, that's my ‘special place’ to know exactly who I am, and external judgment is not relevant anymore. This idea of belonging to ourselves is what inspired this abstract landscape painting. I love its minimal look, the neutral colors and its rich textural quality.
Technique
This original mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.
Size and support
Size: 30x20x0.1" (76.2x50.8x0.3cm) on aluminum Dibond board. It's signed on the back.
Ready to hang:
- Default: It has a metal plate fixing (0.5cm thickness; total thickness of painting + metal plate: 0.8cm)
- Please note: If you plan to frame the painting, I can add wooden fixings on the back (0.8cm thickness; total thickness of painting + wooden fixings: 1.1cm thickness). In this latter case, please contact me so I can prepare the back of the painting before shipping.
