Concept
In making this abstract landscape painting I was inspired by the amazing views I see whenever the bora - a strong northern wind that blows from the mountains down over Trieste, the city where I used to live - hits the sea surface, creating an amazing energy, dispersing the mist and the clouds. This is a stylish and delicate work that I love very much, because of its freshness and uplifting feel.
Technique
This original mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.
Size and support
Size: 27.6x31.5x0.8" (70x80x2cm) on stretched canvas. It's signed on the back and ready to hang.
