Concept
This painting was inspired by looking at leaves on the trees, gently moving and vibrating with the wind. There are movements in the natural world that make me feel carried away, happy, in balance and lost all at the same time. I feel renewed and given yet another chance to live and be free.
Technique
This original mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, pearlescent pigments, gesso, resins mixed with sands. The yellow color has metallic golden pigments in it, and it shines under proper lightning conditions. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.
