Being like water

Concept

For me, looking at the horizon line is invariably inspiring and encouraging. This abstract landscape represents a space where it’s possible to expand and find accomplishment and, at the same time, renewed inspiration. I love the gold and muted blue colors of this painting, that create an ethereal and almost mystical atmosphere all around.

Technique

This original mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands. The yellow color also has some metallic golden pigments in it, and it shines under proper lightning conditions. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.

Size: 15.7x15.7x1.4" (40x40x3.5cm) on wrapped canvas. It's signed on the back and ready to hang.
