Concept
I created this bold abstract painting driven by the image of a door, light filtering through, symbols of both obstacle and opportunity. To me this work is about embracing new challenges, being open. Its deep muted blue contrasting with beige and saffron tones trigger in me a unique and intense emotion.
Technique
This original mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.

Size: 47.2x23.6x1.6" (120x60x4cm) on wrapped canvas. It's signed on the back and ready to hang.
