Concept

This small square mixed media painting represents the freedom felt while sailing away, toward a cherished place. It’s a symbol of personal affirmation and willingness to encounter the good that life may present on our journey.

Technique, size and support
The original artwork is a 15.7x15.7" (40x40cm) on gallery wrapped canvas, made with acrylic colors, gels, resins, small stones, yarn, sand and clay. The white and gold colors also have some metallic pigments in them, and they shine under proper lightning conditions. Being this artwork heavily textured, it gives the viewer a visual and a rich tactile experience. It's signed on the back by the author and ready to hang.
