Our chats at night
Concept
'Our chats at night' is a commissioned work for an interior design firm based in Singapore. It's been created following the broad configuration of 'Born again'. The color palette was developed to reflect the mood and tones of the bedroom, and is inspired by the colors of an Australian river and by the ocean reef, close to where the collectors' home is.
Technique
This original mixed media artwork, is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands, metallic pigments, pearlescent pigments and gold leaf. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience. It shines in different areas, depending on the direction of the lights and the time of the day.

Size: 83.5x66.1" (212x168cm) on wrapped canvas. It's signed on the back.
