Concept
When I created this abstract painting, I was driven by the constant flow of energy I enjoy when I feel connected to land, sky, ultimately to nature. I love the ‘grainy-sandy’ surface of this mixed media landscape - it’s like touching a rock smoothed by sea waves. And its brown and gold colours bring all around harmony and collectedness.
Technique
This original mixed media painting is made with acrylic colors, gesso and resins mixed with sands. The dark yellow color also has some golden metallic pigments in it, and it shines under proper lightning conditions. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.

Size: 41.7x30x0.2" (106x76x0.6cm) on masonite board. It's signed on the back. Ready to hang.
