Concept
This piece is about the many layers and obstacles we need to adapt to in this confusing and complex time of health emergency. Light, as ever for me, is the way out, a beacon to give us direction and purpose. I especially love the rich 3D tactile quality of the rocky surface.
Technique
This original mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, gesso and polyurethane. Being this artwork heavily textured, it gives the viewer a visual and a rich tactile experience.
Size and support
Size: 19.7x15.7x0.6" (50x40x1.5cm) on wrapped canvas. Signed on the back and ready to hang. Unframed.
