Holding on to you
Concept
It was unusually warm outside when I started to work on this tondo painting. I felt like spring was coming already, awakening grass on the ground and leaves in the trees. I think that's why I wanted to use green and teal colors in this abstract landscape. They give me a sense of freshness, of nature that is thriving and growing up again, gifting us with new hope. I have tried to impress on the canvas delicate brushstrokes and smooth transitions, to represent a place, or a state of the mind, that is back again to its splendour and potential.
Technique
Mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands.

Size: 39.4" diameter x 0.7" thickness (100 cm diameter x 1.8 cm thickness) on wrapped canvas.
It's signed on the back and ready to hang.
