Concept
Risen from the earth is a rosy and blue abstract landscape artwork that brings to me exquisitely serene emotions. I’ve never been in Japan, but I’m always amazed at the simple beauty of the cherry blossom season. I love watching the photos and imagine myself immersed into that fascinating atmosphere.
Technique
This original mixed media painting is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.
