Concept
The imaginary landscape of this diptych abstract painting is inspired by the fly of birds in the sky, late in the afternoon. They move together like a single entity yet each of them have their way to dive in and out unique performances. I often go out of my studio to see them, as they give me a great sense of freedom and beauty.
Technique
Mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, pearlescent pigments, gesso, resins mixed with sands.
Size and support
Size of the diptych: 23.6x31.5x0.7" (60x80x1.7 cm) on wrapped canvas. Size of the left panel: 23.6x11.8x0.7" (60x30x1.7 cm). Size of the right panel: 23.6x19.7x0.7" (60x50x1.7 cm).
It's signed on the back and ready to hang.
