Concept
In this abstract landscape painting I wanted to capture the atmosphere of certain long mornings in winter that I wish never end. To me, its tactile quality, the warm golden yellow and the black tones give a classy and intriguing look to this work.
Technique
This original mixed media painting is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands. The yellow color also has some golden metallic pigments in it, and it shines under proper lightning conditions. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.
Size and support
Size: 41.7x30x0.2" (106x76x0.6cm) on masonite board. It's signed on the back. Ready to hang.
