A passage to light

Concept

This painting reminds me of steep mountain skirts in the evening, when the sun is setting down and it kisses the rocks with warmth and light. It gives me a deep feeling of belonging to the natural world and, somehow, of being 'true to myself'.

Technique

This original mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands and pearlescent pigments. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.

Size and support

Size: 19.7x19.7x0.2" (50x50x0.4cm) on aluminum Dibond panel. It's signed on the back.

Ready to hang:
- Default: It has a metal plate fixing (0.5cm thickness; total thickness of painting + metal plate: 0.9cm)
- Please note: If you plan to frame the painting, I can add wooden fixings on the back (0.8cm thickness; total thickness of painting + wooden fixings: 1.2cm thickness). In this latter case, please contact so I can prepare the back of the painting before shipping.
