Take on the sublime #2
Concept
This is a bespoke commission recently realised for an art collectors couple in London, UK, along the concept of a smaller painting (Take on the sublime).
To me it's a painting that invites the viewer to feel at one with mountains, from their highest peak schrouded in mist to the tiniest patch of moss in the deep of the forest. It's a celebration of imagination, freedom and love for nature.
Technique
This original mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.
Size and support
Size: 35.4x47.2” (90x120cm)
On canvas. This painting was shipped stretched in a box.
