When you smile
Concept
For this painting I was inspired by lot of natural elements, both very calming and dynamic. The leaves gently quivering in the wind, some stormy days in summer, when the clouds seemed to chase one another in a crazy run. I love the movement in it, and how I feel the space, the waves and rhythm are stretching beyond the surface of the painting itself and reach out to some new place. It’s some kind of love song.
Technique
This original mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.
